It would be great if we had the ability to change the default view for the Projects page - or at least have it remember the last view in a cookie - I keep having to click All Projects then Kanban to set the view which I would love if this was a default.

This is possible already. If you go to the main welcome dashboard and then click on Options > Your Settings. On this page you can set your default views.
